What to bring to your appointment:

1) Medical records that pertain to your visit. If your PCP or any other specialist, e.g. an orthopedist, has ordered lab tests, X rays, MRI's, bone density tests in order to explore a new problem, it is very important for Dr. Rocca to review the results to these tests. It would be in your best interest to hand carry these results with you at the time of your appointment (as opposed to relying on a secretary to fax/mail them to Dr. Rocca) as this would ensure that the results are available at the time of your visit.
If you have been diagnosed with a disease that a rheumatologist treats, e.g. arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, etc. and have been treated for that disease, it would be in your best interest to have a list of the treatment(s) tried and the result of that treatment, e.g. helped, did not help, side effect, etc.

2) Insurance cards

3) Copay. Cash, check, Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

4) Please note that if your insurance requires you to obtain a referral from your primary care physician (PCP) in order for you to see a specialist, it is your responsibility to obtain that referral prior to the appointment.
